I know PMs are big at tech companies...do I need to be a strong coder to be a good PM? How can I prepare for a career in PM/the interview process?

Pretty sure you can be a good PM with a lot of different backgrounds. I have a friend who was a former software developer than became a PM, but another friend who was business savvy and have a finance background but landed a PM job. I recently read about this on the Careersopedia PM page though, so anyone that's interested should check it out (link below).
For PM interview prep, check out the guide on the PM and PMM forum topic page. There's some good info there</p.
